Hürth Park Cologne
A touch of Hollywood in Hürth
LED Video Wall heralds new content era
With the new LED Video Wall, Hürth Park is launching into the future of impressive advertising messages just in time for the Christmas business: from now on, advertising clips and center information will be shown on an 8 x 5 meter HD LED screen in the atrium.
The visual Large-Scale Display is the super tool when it comes to attracting the attention of visitors, sharing specific information and arousing emotions. Moving mega-pictures with personalized addresses, service tips and relevant offers now reach the visitors of Hürth Park in real time. Of course, the approximately 150 shops that can participate in the digital signage system also benefit from the direct line to customers. For the time after Corona, the Hürth residents can look forward to live broadcasts and public viewings.
The owner Deka Immobilien (property fund WestInvest InterSelect) has invested a year of preparation time and extensive preliminary work in the center in the project of the media future, until on Sunday, 01.11.2020, a mobile crane with a 70 m jib lifted the pre-assembled video wall in two parts across the buildings into the atrium.
The extensive examination of the statics, the resulting reinforcement of the steel struts in the canopy, several electrical and roofing works and updates of the fire protection measures were worthwhile. For the owner Deka Immobilien, his vision of the LED wall was realized "to present the center and its major brands with a modern medium as part of the extensive refurbishment," says Stephan Voutta of Deka Immobilien Investment. It was important for him to stay close to the visitors of the center despite all the distance required and to create anticipation for the convivial time of the public viewings in Corona.
LEDCON Systems and SawatzkiMühlenbruch, who together with CNS GmbH were responsible for planning and execution, celebrated the completion of the LED video wall live at 11 p.m., which was also a festive moment for the external marketer Goldbach and the technical support of SawatzkiMühlenbruch. "When the first video started - already in the dark - I was very impressed. A razor-sharp, bright picture in HD quality, a huge statement," said Dieter Sawatzki, managing director of the lead agency, summing up the significant moment.
