Digital display in the town pavilion will reveal the level of the Seseke in the future

The Lippeverband is now adding yet another crown to the successful renaturation of the Seseke and the opening of the park: From November onwards, a stylish LED board will show the Kamener people the current water level.

For the LED board - 1.60 metres wide and one metre high - the city pavilion was gladly provided, which is perfectly suited for this purpose due to its exposed location. "We use a large LED display to make the Seseke level, which is measured 250 meters away from the park, more visible - we transmit the measurement results via radio," explains Dr. Alexander Hartung, who is responsible for level measurement at the Lippeverband. The digital display provides clearly visible information about the water level during the last week and the last month, as well as the air temperature. In addition, information is also available regarding the gauge station itself and the technology used there.
